Description

RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER LOCAL PUBLIC UTILITY TELEPHONE COMPANY THAT SERVES SLEEPING BEAR DUNES NATIONAL SEASHORE. Stabilize and Rehabilitate Buildings in Glen Haven Historic District SLBE 197355, TAS::14 1041::TAS, NAICS Code 517110. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act. The National Park Service is issuing special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely as (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements) with CenturyLink. This requirement is for the conversion of existing overhead utility service throughout the village of Glen Haven to underground utility service and replacement of existing LEC/ISP systems. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing via mail to Colina Rivetts, National Park Service, P.O. Box 25287, MS-WCP, Denver, CO 80225 or by email to colina_rivetts@nps.gov. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.
