- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), Animal Import/Export Center in Miami, FL has a requirement for a contractor to remove two existing incinerators and install two new 500 lb/hr incinerators. The incinerators must be rated to burn animal carcasses and bedding/manure. The contractor will be responsible to obtain all applicable permits for installation and operation and provide testing required to finalize the installation for use with the different agencies; Miami Dade Department of Aviation; Miami Dade Department of Building Code Compliance, and; Miami Dade Department of Environmental Resources Management. We anticipate the award of a firm fixed-price supply contract with incidental services. The effective period of the contract shall be September 27, 2010, or date of award, whichever is later. The solicitation, AG-6395-S-10-0149, will be released on or about August 30, 2010 and will be a 100% small business set-aside, therefore, all responsible small businesses may submit an offer. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at this site. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFERER'S REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFERER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES. The NAICS code is 562213 with a size standard of 12.5 million dollars.
