- This will be a solicitation for a Fixed Quantity Contract forOverhaul/Re-Manufacture of the Two Way Hydraulic Restrictor CalibratedFlow Valve for the B-1. The contractor shall provide all labor,facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test,packing, preservation and packaging of the test stand. A Firm FixedPrice contract is contemplated. This is a competitive purchase but allinterested vendors will be required to qualify via a SAR package. The restrictor is designed to beplaced directly in a hydraulic fluid line.L/I 0001 - 8 units Overhauled L/I 0002 - Over and AboveL/I 0003 - Data and Reports IAW DD 1423. Required Delivery - An Initial delivery schedule of 3 each, 30 daysafter receipt of repairables. 10. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns fromofferors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase ofthis acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
