- The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, equipment, materials, supervision and insurances to perform Preventive Maintenance and Repairs Services for all gate operators located in at each of the US Army Reserve Centers through out the island of Puerto Rico. This acquisition is issued as a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applicable to this acquisition is 811310. This requirement will be result in a Firm Fixed Priced type contract. The period of performance is one base year with four option years for a total of five years possible, if the Government chooses to exercise the option periods. The solicitation is being issued concurrently today August 17, 2010 and will close on September 8, 2010. The solicitation will not be mailed out. All interested sources may go to the Federal Business Opportunity website at: https://www.fbo.gov/ and obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation. Bidders are responsible to ensure their bid package is received by the exact time, date, and specified location for receipt of bids. Interested bidders are responsible for continuing to monitor the websites for any/all future Amendments issued, if any. Interested bidders shall sign copies of any amendment issued and submit with their package. Telephone requests will not be honored. Bidders need to be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to submission of bid.
