- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice (synopsis) IAW FAR Subpart 5.2 procedures for the acquisition of Full Food Service to support the 10 th Force Support Squadron at the USAF Academy. The place of performance will be the High Country Inn at the USAF Academy, CO 80840. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, supervision, services and supplies necessary to operate the High Country Inn dining hall to include food ordering, preparation, cooking, serving, cleanup, cashiering, store room management, sanitation and housekeeping. The appropriate NAICS code is 722310 - Food Service Contractors and the small business size standard is $20.5M dollars. This acquisition will be competitively procured using full and open procedures. All responsible and responsive offerors are encouraged to compete. This service is being acquired in accordance with FAR Part 15 - Contracting By Negotiation procedures. The Request For Proposal (RFP) should be posted on www.fbo.gov sometime during the month of September 2010 with a closing date approximately 30 days after the posting date. A site visit date will be specified in the request for proposal and held within the first 15 days of the proposal period. Expected contract start date is 1 February 2011. The contract is expected to be firm-fixed price with a reimbursable CLIN for equipment repair. The performance period will be a base year plus four option years. The proposed solicitation number is FA7000-10-R-0040.
