- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, Atlanta, Georgia, intends to issue a solicitation RFQP03011000050 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE - Dry Goods/Groceries (General Line Merchants Wholesalers). This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin October 1, 2010 and ends October 22, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary, 601 McDonough Blvd., S.E., Atlanta, GA 30315. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 18, 2010 and will be posted to the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure of having the most up to date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 8, 2010. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representation and certifications via the On Line Representation and Certification Applications (OCRA) at http://orca/bpn.gov. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations (Aug 2005) are included.
