- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center-Fort Bragg, NC intends to issue a solicitation for relocation of Video Teleconferencing Equipment. The existing equipment is to be moved from one building to another. This VTC equipment will provide the unit with a newer system that will replace both of the older systems with one complete system that uses one higher quality speaker and microphone set up, instead of two separate systems. Currently there are two separate older systems that when combined give the capability to conduct daily Adobe Connect meetings and SVTC meetings. The one system is comprised of a single omni direction microphone and home computer grade speakers that give the capability to talk and listen during meetings. Both the microphone and speakers are low quality and often provide noisy feedback while in operation. The other system comprises of an older Polycom VTC system and requires separate audio and microphones. All major components will be Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). Cable and connectors are to be provided by contractor. The requirement will be a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a size standard of $14M. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. FAR 13.106 will be used for evaluation purposes. The period of performance is 120 After Receipt of Order (ARO). The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued under solicitation number W91247-10-T-0124. The RFQ will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential Quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All Quoters must be registered with the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. The anticipated posting of the RFQ is on or around 18 August 2010.
