- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) R10PS30306 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. This RFQ is issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and will be unrestricted. If no responsive small businesses respond, quotes from large businesses will be considered. The NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery Equipment Repair and Maintenance, and the size standard is $7.0 Mil. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-44. The Bureau of Reclamation, Hoover Dam, Nevada, has a requirement for annual inspections and as-needed repair services on all six power plant elevators and seven Visitor Center elevators as well as two escalators. The contractor is required to perform all inspections according to the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Hoover Dam will provide elevator mechanics to perform required work to comply with the standards for approval by a QE.1.1 certified elevator safety inspector. All services will be performed at Hoover Dam, S. Hwy 93, Boulder city, NV 89005. It is anticipated that one (1) three (3) year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will be awarded based on the lowest priced, responsive quotes from responsible quoters. The RFQ contains the following: a description with quantities, and all applicable clauses and provisions. Quotes are due August 25, 2010 by 4:00 p.m. local time and may be submitted electronically, by fax, or by mail to: Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Contracting Office (LC-10214), and P.O.
