- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 02 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR VHF-UHFRADIO TRANSCEIVERS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. Thisnotice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendmentwill not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the requirement by uplaoding/adding theVHF/UHF SOW, Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to offerors, and Addendum to FAR52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items.The description of the requirement is hereby changed to read as follows:NASA has a requirement to purchase 3 each Rockwell Collins Model Number No. 629F-11C;Part Number 822-1182-002 VHF/UHF receiver transmitters (ARC-210 without secure voiceBrand Name or Equal) and AS-3970/A Chelton Antenna (12 inch white, tunable Brand Name orEqual), associated documentation, and miscellaneous hardware that is compliant withSections 4.0 through 7.0 of the SOW. The VHF/UHF receiver transmitters supplied mustmeet FAA or equivalent airworthiness standards and TSO qualifications where appropriate. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended (remains as August 30, 2010 IAWAmmendment No. 01).Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on August 30, 2010. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
