- REVISION TO CHANGE THE BID DUE DATE TO FRIDAY, AUGUST 27TH, 2010 AT NOON (CENTRAL). SEND TO SANDRA CLORE, MTC PROCUREMENT, ATTN: BOXELDER PELLET BOILER PROJECT, 500 N. MARKETPLACE DRIVE, CENTERVILLE, UT 84014 ---------------------------------------------------------- REVISED SOW TO INCLUDE: The two pellet boilers are to just provide domestic hot water. In Section VI. Extent of Work - Paragraph 2- " Install two (2) wood pellet burning boilers to supply domestic hot water and heat [ Remove the word heat ]in the cafeteria building at the Boxelder Civilian Conservation Center in Nemo, South Dakota. In Section VI. Extent of Work - Paragraph C. SYSTEM COMPONENTS "Specification for Wood Pellet Boilers: Furnish and install two (2) wood pellet boiler systems with two (2) wood pellet boilers as manufactured by Harman Heating model PB105 Pellet Boiler, HS Tarm Model 4.0, Froling P4 or equal, with 115 MBH input each for a total of 230 MBH. The pellet boilers shall provide primary heat and [ Remove words heat and] domestic hot water to the Cafeteria Building. The existing heating and [ Remove words heating and ] domestic hot water shall be modified to be used as a secondary heat source." In Section VI. Extent of Work - Paragraph K. FIRE PREVENTION SYSTEM - A sprinkler system is NOT required for the new boiler building. In Section VI, Extent of Work - Paragraph O. PLUMBING CONNECTION "From the standpoint of the overall heating and [ Remove the words heating and and add domestic water] distribution system of the facility, the wood pellet system will be the primary hot water generator." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Boxelder Job Corps Civilian Conversation Center located at 22023 Job Corps Place, Nemo, SD 57759 has extended the solicitation for the pellet boiler project. A REVISED ARRA CONSTRUCTION BID PACKAGE IS ATTACHED FOR YOR CONVENIENCE. PRE-BID AND WALK-THRU CONFERENCE IS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 12, 2010 AT 2:00PM (CST). This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The pre-bid meeting and walk-thru will be conducted at the Center location on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 at 1:00PM (Central). Bids will be dueon Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 at 3:00PM (Central).
