Description
The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials and labor necessary to install electrical service to the 3 acre test site located north of the water tower at the regional airport. The project will include the installation of concrete pads for the transformers and electrical panels. The contractor shall trench and install appropriate sized conduit from the transformer north of airport water tower approximtely 150 feet north onto 3 acre test site. Mid-American Energy will intall conductors from existing transformer to new transformer. Contractor shall install the following equipment: - 600 Amp, 277/480 Volt, 3-phase, 4-wire service panel with 65,000 AIC rating. Panel shall have 600 Amp main circuit breaker with one (1) 200 Amp and one (1) 225 Amp breakers installed; - 150kVA NEMA 3R transformer; - 400 Amp 120/208 volt, 3-phase, 4-wire NEMA 3R service panel with 22,000 AIC rating. Panel shall have a 400 Amp main circuit breaker with three (3) 60 Amp breakers and three (3) 100 Amp breakers installed. The contractor shall make all necessary connections from transformer to installed panels. All panels and connections will be installed outdoors and must be rated for exterior use. Refer to drawings for more information. 133rd TS personnel will locate and identify unit-owned obstructions and relocate if possible. Contractor is responsible for contacting Iowa One Call to locate and identify all underground utilities affecting the work site. All work shall be performed in a professional manner in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal codes. Workers shall follow IA ANG rules, codes, regulations, and/or policies for badges.
