- Description
- Re-engineer and produce Pelton main distributing valve and spool set Reverse engineer and manufacture Pelton governor parts. Parts and drawings are located at the Glen Canyon Dam. Parts and drawings are available for viewing and inspection at the Glen Canyon Dam warehouse, 805 Bureau Street, Page, Arizona 86040. Parts can be viewed Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm. Parts must not leave facility until award is made. Once awarded, the contractor may temporarily take the parts from the warehouse to their place of business.All new parts need to be fabricated to the original parts specification and tolerances. This fabrication must produce new parts that are capable of meeting the requirements for design, installation, functionality and operation. All governor part sub-assemblies must be assembled by the contractor. Original parts may not be modified, fixed, or re-used by the contractor and should be returned in the same condition. Governor parts are used in Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton hydraulic turbines.
