- Brand Name Justification and Approval This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA7014-10-T-8019. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-42. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334515 with a business size standard of 500 employees. Statutory authority used for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements - FAR 6.302-1(c). LINE ITEM 0001: TB-6000A DS1-C48 Dual Port Package, TB6000A-OC48-DP; QUANTITY: 2 EA, UNIT PRICE ________________; EXTENDED PRICE__________________________ ; LINE ITEM 0002: HS 2-Wide Datacom PIM (Physical Interface Module) for MSAM, CPHSDATA; QUANTITY: 2 EA, UNIT PRICE___________________; EXTENDED PRICE_______________________; LINE ITEM 0003: MTS/TB 6000A MSAM High Speed Datacom Test Option, CTHSDATA; QUANTITY: 2 EA, UNIT PRICE____________________; EXTENDED PRICE _____________________________; LINE ITEM 0004: V.24/EIA-530 DTE/DCE EMULATION CABLE 6, CB-44385; QUANTITY: 2 EA, UNIT PRICE______________________; EXTENDED PRICE_____________________________; INSPECTION CONDITION AND TERMS: Items shall be priced FOB Destination. Delivery/Acceptance will be at 1558 Alabama Ave, Andrews AFB MD 20762. FAR PROVISIONS: The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and Addendum to FAR CLAUSE 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition are as follows: http://farsite.hill.af.mil, 52.252-1, 52.252-5, 52.211-6, and 52.252-3; DFARS (Chapter 2) 252.225-7000. EVALUATION PROCEDURES: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforms to the solicitation and price is determined most advantageous to the Government in accordance with the requirement. Only those offerors determined to be in compliance with the requirements as stated in this solicitation will be considered for award. If additional information is required to support price reasonableness, each offeror may be required to provide a hard copy of their price break-down. Non-conformance with this requirement may result in the offerors quote being determined unacceptable. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representatives and Certifications-Commercial Items, ALT I applies to this acquisition and offeror(s) must include a completed copy with its offer.
