- Sources Sought/Market Survey This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking interested businesses for competitive consideration. This is not a Request for Quotations, nor is it a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list or an announcement of a solicitation. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE is conducting a market survey to determine the sizes and types of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract. This will be for the purchase of two (2) Neutral Net Retrieval Files to be shipped to Hurlburt Field, FL and Aviano, Italy for use with Microwave Radiometer Profilers. Prospective firms should notify this office of their interest in this notice by submitting a Capabilities Statement which should include their company size and provide descriptive literature or other documentation, in addition to the following information: (1) Identification of company size status, certifications, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, or, if you are a small business, a self-certification; (2) If you are a Section 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB firm considering a joint venture, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the appropriate SBA office for approval; (3) Proof of experience and capability. The NAICS Code is 511210 with an SBA Size Standard of $25.0 M. Responses shall be limited to ten (10) pages in length and shall be submitted electronically via e-mail addressed to mary.thomsen@offutt.af.mil. Please note this is not a Request for Quotations, nor is it a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list or an announcement of a solicitation. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time on Monday, August 23, 2010. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this Sources Sought/Market Survey nor return the data provided. The results of this survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice. Any questions concerning this Sources Sought/Market Survey shall be submitted electronically via email addressed to mary.thomsen@offutt.af.mil.
