- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF02159365 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS Code 332321 with number of employees not exceeding 500. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) at Waterways Experiment Station (WES), Vicksburg, MS, Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory has a requirement for: CLIN 0001: Quantity 6, 16-gauge 3070 x 1 full-flush steel insulated doors with steel stiffeners (3-right-hand inward-opening & 3 right-hand outward-opening) and heavy duty stainless steel hardware (lever style opener with deadbolt and hinges) fully installed in 16-gauge steel corner welded frames, equal rabbeted with standard base anchors, standard hinge and striker reinforcements with a standard drywall jamb depth. Doors and frames to be completely assembled for drop-in installation; CLIN 0002: Quantity 6, 14-gauge 3070 x 1 full-flush steel insulated doors with steel stiffeners (3-right-hand inward-opening & 3 right-hand outward-opening) and heavy duty stainless steel hardware (lever style opener with deadbolt and hinges) fully installed in 14-gauge steel corner welded frames, equal rabbeted with standard base anchors, standard hinge and striker reinforcements with a standard drywall jamb depth. Doors and frames to be completely assembled for drop-in installation; CLIN 0003: Quantity 6, laminated solid core wood 3070 x 1 full flush doors (3-right-hand inward-opening & 3 right-hand outward-opening) with heavy duty stainless steel hardware (lever style opener with deadbolt and hinges) fully installed in 16-gauge steel corner welded frames, equal rabbeted with standard base anchors, standard hinge and striker reinforcements with a standard drywall jamb depth. Doors and frames to be completely assembled for drop-in installation. This procurement may be quoted as follows: CLIN 0001: Quantity 6, Unit: EA, Unit Price:___________, Total Amount:__________. CLIN 0002: Quantity 6, Unit: EA, Unit Price:__________, Total Amount:__________. CLIN 0003: Quantity 6, Unit: EA, Unit Price:___________, Total Amount:__________. Grand Total for CLIN 0001 thru CLIN 0003:___________. Delivery shall be no later than 30 days after receipt of award. FOB Destination. Delivery is to be made to: MEI, 10625 Puckett Road, Perry, FL 32348. Award shall be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
