- RFP for NSN 6220-00-583-3442, LIGHT, LANDING, AIRCR, (05F). This Solicitation SPM4A6-10-R-1074, PR 0025862317 is hereby cancelled in its entirety. In accordance with Grimes Aerospace Co. (72914) part number 40005-4559. End item application: Aircraft, Stratofortress B-52. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. PRLI: 0001 - qty 135 ea., 0002 - qty 27 ea. Required delivery: 240 DARO. FOB-DESTINATION, INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE-DESTINATION. This is being procured as other than full and open competition under 10 USC 2304©(1). (FAR 6.302). Only one source, Grimes Aerospace Co. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This procurement is unrestricted. The stock locations are New Cumberland PA and Stockton, CA. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements." Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available on or about August 30, 2010 and will close on or about September 30, 2010. Anticipated award date: October 22, 2010. The final contract award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factor as described in the solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the solicitation.
