- Photo 3 Photo 2 Phote 1 Site map Request for Quote Tyee Lookout Reroof The work consists of removal of exisiting cedar roofing shingles and reroofing with cedar shingles on Building No. 4115 (Tyee Lookout), Entiat Ranger Distrrict, Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. An existing lightning protection system will have to be removed and reconnected as part of this project. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the Contract. The lookout is on the National Register of Historic Places (National Register). Because of the listing on the National Register, the products used required review and approval of the State Historic Preservation Offficers (SHPO). The products specified in this solicitation have been approved by SHPO. Tyee Lookout is located at 6,000+ feet in elevation and requires 4-wheel drive to access via an unimproved road.
