- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to issue a modification to an existing contract to Elbit Systems of America, Inc. (EFW) for the re-pinning of the circuit breaker panel cable to its original configuration for the Tactical Video Display Link (TVDL) installation. The purpose of this action is to alleviate confusion in the field and eliminate the impact to technical publications that would be effected by the TVDL installation. The procurement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that EFW is the only known company with the knowledge, data, and capability to manufacture these systems.
