- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make a Sole Source award under FAR Part 6.302-1 to Steris Corporation, 5960 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060, for medicated lotion soap to be used with the Steris medicated lotion soap dispensers located at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. The required supplies are 1.2 Liter soap refills with an active ingredient of.5% Triclosan and must be compatible with the Steris dispensers. An estimated 60 cases per month is required with monthly deliveries. The procurement will be a firm-fixed priced purchase order for the anticipated period of 10/01/10 through 09/30/11. This acquisition is Unrestricted and FOB destination. Any vendor who believes they can meet these requirements shall provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by August 30, 2010, 5 p.m. CST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated by our Quality Management Team; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Steris Corporation.
