- Solicitation: Number FA8307-10-R-0062:VIASAT MODEMS PR# F2MTN70165B002 ACQUISITION DESCRIPTION NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). THIS IS NOT A SOLICATATION This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Cryptologic Systems Division, Cyber/Netcentric Directorate requires a repair contract for the Air Force used NSN: 5895-01-448-8901CA, P/N: VA-002550-0124, NOUN: DAMA Modem and NSN: 5810-01-478-7378CS, P/N: VA006329, NOUN: VDC-300 Controller. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 - Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. Cryptologic Systems Division, Cyber/Netcentric Directorate intends to make an award to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), VIASAT, Incorporated, 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009, CAGE: 47358. The DAMA Modem and VDC-300 Controller were developed by and are owned by VIASAT, Incorporated. Cryptologic Systems Division, Cyber/Netcentric Directorate requires the repair of the DAMA Modem and VDC-300 Controller in support of the MC-130E, MC-130H, MC-130P and MH-53M. Note: 22 applies If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days of this publication. Those firms interested must indicate whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Interested firms must also be NSA Type 1 certified at the time consideration is requested.
