- Description
- This project consists of the removal and installation of HDPE culverts, placement of aggregate, riprap and unclassified borrow, reconditioning of roadway ditches, unsuitable excavation, and temporary traffic control. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The successful offeror shall be required to submit Alternative Payment Protection (100% of contract amount) prior to start of work. Contract time is 60 calendar days. Estimated start work date is October 1, 2010. The solicitation packet will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about August 30, 2010. To access the project site from Salem, OR, travel east on Highway 22 to mile post 67.8 and turn right on Forest Service Road 2234. Travel 1.70 miles to the junction with Forest Service Road 2234-280 (end of project). Road 2234 access just east of Idanha to the project area is not passable due to a large road failure at milepost 4.80., Detroit, Oregon, 97360, United States
