- The purpose of this synopsis is to advise industry for planning and/or preparation purposes of a requirement for the performance of the following elements: Grease Traps and Lift Stations maintinance of the 1 st Special Operations Civin Engineer Squadron (CE) on Hurlburt Field, FL. The Contracting office anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) using FAR Part 12 and 15 for a basic performance period with four (4) one-year option periods. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The anticipated solicitation issue date is 16 August 2010. The Contractor will perform the above function in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). NAICS Code 562991 is applicable to this requirement with a small business size standard of $7,000,000. This requirement will be a 100% small business set-aside. Relevant information regarding a site visit or conference will be announced in the solicitation. This announcement os NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
