- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: FA4855-10-R-0021, Repair Base Perimeter Fence, Cannon AFB, New Mexico This is pre-solicitation notice with the intent to advertise for the Repair of the Base Perimeter Fence at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. The work consists of the contractor providing all parts, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the following work: install approximately 41,780 LF (linear feet) of double ¾" (three-quarter-inch) diameter cable barrier fencing capable of stopping a vehicle generating 200,000 ft-lb within 40-feet of impact to the base perimeter fence on Cannon AFB, NM. See the attached Statement of Work and Technical Exhibits (TE-1 and TE-2). The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238990 with a size standard of $14.0M. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 ($1M) and $5,000,000 ($5M). This acquisition is being solicited in accordance with FAR 19.1405 and set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business concerns. This solicitation and any amendments are paperless and will be available on the internet only. The solicitation will be available on or about 05 August 2010. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for procurement as all solicitation documents will be available electronically and it is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notification of updates to this procurement via this website. A site visit will be conducted at Cannon AFB on or around 13 August 2010 (exact date, time, and location will be provided in the RFP), for the purpose of explaining the concepts involved with the project.
