- This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the Government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Wolters Kluwer Health, pursuant to FAR PART 6.302-1(a) (2), only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency’s requirements. The Government intends to renew maintenance for the software program sold as Medi-Span. Wolters Kluwer Health is the sole developer and distributor of the software sold. In addition, Wolter Kluwer Health is the sole provider of support services for this product. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 11:59 PM, EST on August 18, 2010 by e-mail to Isaac.bellamy@psc.hhs.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
