- Solicitation N00421-10-T-0365 is issued as a request for quote. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with the Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (MAES) Magazine, for the line items listed below, under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR Part 6.302-1. The contract line numbers and descriptions are: Clin 0001, 1 lot, consisting of 4, 1 page, four color advertisements in the 2010-2011 Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (MAES) Magazine for the following: Fall 2010 and three advertisements in 2011. Please note: This is not for the design of advertisements, it is the publication of Government advertisements in a specific magazine. Award is expected to be 08/30/2010. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 08/18/2010 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
