- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Great Lakes Science Center, Tunison Lab Of Aquatic Science, 3075 Gracie Road, Cortland, NY 13045 has a requirement to re-grade and resurface the parking lot and drive-way at the Tunison Lab of Aquatic Science. The project encompasses the re-grade and resurface of approximately 880 square yards of parking lot and a driveway approximately 500 feet long and 18 feet wide. The projects will also consist of the re-grade and resurface of the specified area, repair of pot holes, overlay asphalt surfaces and inspect and install (if needed) new drain piping. Cleaning of current drainage system and line with rock. Drainage pipes along the road will be checked for issues and replaced if needed. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, quality control, tools, materials, equipment, removal and disposal of existing asphalt surface. Site visits with the Facility manager have been arranged on August 18, 2010, August 25, 2010 and September 1, 2010 at 09:00 AM. All contractors must attend one of the scheduled site visits prior to submitting a proposal. Contractor will be asked to provide a minimum of three (3) references to be submitted with proposals. The contractor must be insured against claims covering worker's compensation, property damage and personal liability. Contractor must be properly licensed and bonded. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform all work under this project. RFQ 10ERQQ0493 will be issued on or about August 15, 2010 with written quotes due on September 10, 2010. The NAICS Code is 238990. This project is set aside for small business concerns. The cost range of this project is between $250,000.00 and $300,000.00 The anticipated award date is September 20, 2010. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov and the Online Representations and Certifications ( ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. The government will consider a contractors technical ability, past performance and price to determine the lowest price offer technically acceptable to the government.
