- Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), 9410 Jackson Loop, suite 101, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060, plans to issue a Request for Quote for Security Manholes Installation for U.S. Army Adelphi Laboratory Center Adelphi, MD. PROJECT SCOPE: The contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide and install 181 lockable Manhole security devices. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 332510 Contract award will be made on a firm fixed-price basis. This action is 100% set-aside for small businesses. Offers shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract; it does not restrict the Governments ultimate approach; nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any quote preparation costs. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. When the Request for Quote is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to this requirement. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. Tentative date for issuance of the RFQ is on or about 16 August 2010. Tentative required date for receipt of Quotes is on or about 30 August 2010. Tentative contract award date is on or about 10 September 2010.
