- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, requires a paving work under Project Number 693-07-132. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, tools, supervision, equipment, permits, testing and reports to include, but not necessarily limited to, asphalt pavement milling, asphalt paving, replacement of drain inlets, line painting, pavement markings, and chain link fence/gate repair and replacement. All work must be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications and all federal, state and local codes and regulations. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 90 calendar days, weather permitting. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is to be issued as a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm must be small under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov. Bidders must ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 237310 and the small business size standard is $33.5 Million. Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds, and Performance Bonds are required. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held, date/time/location to be provided with the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about August 28, 2010. It is the Bidders' responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure receiving the most up to date information, including amendments. Drawings will be posted with the solicitation. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds.
