Description
Description: The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Sole Source requirement to the Selixis LLC, Inc., 4177 HIDDEN VALLEY RD, LAFAYETTE, CA 94549-3347. IBM has indicated that they have extended permissions to SELIXIS LLC to provide software support for Informix version 7. The DMLSS program has a requirement for continued license maintenance services in support of Informix version 7 software. Informix software is the database engine within the DMLSS version 3.06b127 application currently deployed at various sites worldwide. This version of DMLSS is in the process of being replaced and the new version does not require the Informix database. DMLSS version 3.06.b127 must be maintained until all sites have received the new version of DMLSS prior to the end of FY10. This procurement is being issued in accordance with FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This Synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within fifteen (15) days after publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
