- Description
- the work covered by these specifications will be performed on the Walker River Indian Reservation, Shurz, Nevada. The work will include, but not be limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, tools, equipment and materials and performing all operations in connection with the demolition of two buildings, an elevated water tower, adandonment of two community domestic water wells and abandonment of a sewage lift station including associated site restoration in accordance with these specifications. This contract will involve work at three separate sites within the same general location. The contractor shall contact the appropriate local utility companies to ensure all utilities have been disconnected before demolition activities begin. All buildings and structures have been tested for asbestos containing materials and none were identified. No reuse of buildings is allowed. The buildings cannot simply be removed from the site and reused at another location. They must be demolished. salvaging materials during the demolition process is allowed and encouraged.
