DESCRIPTION: NSN(s): 4720991321571 Item Description: HOSE ASSEMBLY, Non-Metallic. Manufacturer’s Code and Part Number (if applicable): Flight Refueling Ltd U1918 P/N: 43325602 Quantity: 28 Unit of Issue: EA. Destination Information: Items will be shipped to various zones within conus Inspection and Acceptance @ Destination, FOB Destination Delivery Schedule: 210 Days. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon past history/technical review,acquisition research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN(s) with various end items. This proposed procurement Includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4720. The requirement will Result in an award of a Large Purchase Contract The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about Aug.30,2010 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for 1 3C code/part item. This signifies that the Government intends to solicite and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302 This AMSC code implies that Parts procured under this NSN are candidates for Full and Open Competition. The delivery for this Acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The Proposed procurement contains a 25% Quantity Option. The Total Quantity(Annual Demand Qty plus 25% Quantity Option) shall not exceed 35ea.
