- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Contracting Center, will be issuing a solicitation for the 30mm PGU-13D/B High Explosive Incendiary (HEI) cartridge (NSN: 1305-01-579-2134) and 30mm PGU-13B/B HEI remanufactured cartridges (NSN: 1305-01-539-0416, single band and NSN: 1305-01-539-1347, double band). The approximate quantity of PGU-13D/B cartridges is 1.2 million cartridges with an estimated monthly delivery rate of 103,500 cartridges per month. The approximate quantity of PGU-13B/B HEI remanufactured cartridges is 420,000 with an estimated monthly delivery rate of 200,000 per month. This requirement is restricted to the National Technology Industrial Base (NTIB), United States and Canada, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(3). The NAICS code is 332993. One or more firm fixed price contract award(s) are anticipated. The Technical Data Package (TDP) is classified as Distribution Statement D, DoD and US DoD contractors only. Offerors must be registered with the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Program (www.dlis.dla.mil) to obtain a copy of the TDP. To request a TDP, please provide a cage code and JCP Certification number in an email to the contract specialist at julie.a.schmoll@us.army.mil. The approximate issue date of the solicitation is August 27, 2010. The closing date of the solicitation is approximately October 11, 2010. The solicitation will be issued via the internet at FedBizOpps. Any changes to the solicitation will be posted to the website. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the site periodically for possible changes. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
