- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted and the associated NAICS code is 441110, New Car Dealers. The government will award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation with the lowest price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The government may elect to award without discussions. The contract is for the purchase of one (1) 2010 or 2011 Ford - Escape Hybrid vehicle to be delivered to Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos, New Mexico. Bandelier National Monument will be trading in one (1) 2010 Chevrolet HHR LS Sport Wagon 4D. The estimated award date will on or about September 10, 2010. REQUIREMENTS: 2010/2011 Ford Escape Hybrid: with Standard Features, Automatic Transmission, 16 inch wheels with all weather/all terrain tires and full size spare, 4WD, Cruise control, and color preference in order: 1). White, 2). Silver, 3). Light Green, and 4). Light Blue Trade-In Vehicle Specifications: Vehicle is in excellent condition, Kelly Bluebook (estimated trade-in value $12,525. Vehicle Highlights: Mileage: Less than 3,000 milesEngine: 4-Cyl, Flex Fuel, 2.2LTransmission: Automatic, 4-Spd w/OverdriveDrivetrain: FWD Selected Equipment: Traction Control, Stabilitrak, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Am/Fm Stereo, and Dual Air Bags. GENERAL INFORMATION: The purchase is a lump sum Firm-Fixed-Price contract. Product Service Code 2310, NAICS Code 441110 New Car Dealers.
