Description
The 409th CSB, Theatre Contracting Center intends to competitively award a FFP contract for up to six (6) each Truck brush fire fighting 200gpm pumpers diesel engine driven, Maximum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 18000 Kg, Min 2,850 liter water tank, min. 114 liter (30 gal) foam tank, pump capacity min. 1000 gallons per minute with bumper turret, hose storage compartments, equipment storage compartments with roll-up doors to store government provided Fire Fighting Equipment Sets in accordance with European Specifications. Vehicles have to meet all applicable European safety requirements. Delivery: is FOB Origin at the contractors plant which shall be in a radius of 350 km from Schweinfurt, Germany. Time of delivery: ten (10) months after date of order. Procurement is being conducted in accordance with requirements of FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. Request for Quotation (RFQ) W912CM-10-T-0317 will be issued on or about 20 August 2010 with a closing date of on or about 10 September 2010. All responsive sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written RFQ. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representation and certification via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written RFQ.
