- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a firm fixed priced contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) combine synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (far) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This Request for Quotes (RFQ) will also use the procedures under FAR Part 13. In accordance with 13.106-2, the contracting officer may take into consideration information such as the contracting officer's knowledge of and previous experience with the supply being acquired or other reasonable basis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference/solicitation number is VA-248-10-RQ-0600 and the solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The combined -synopsis/solicitation will result in a contract and /or corresponding purchase order. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effects as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal acquisition regulations (far) and Veterans affairs Acquisition regulations supplement (VAAR) can be accessed on the Internet at hrrp://www.arnet.gov/far (far) and http://vaww.appc1.va.gov/oamm/vaar (VAAR). North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 541990 (size standards in number of employees is 100) applies to this solicitation. THIS IS A TOTAL SDVOSB SET ASIDE.
