FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Chi Chung Chang, RDER-PRA-GD, (732)427-3385 This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for 10 kW Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Generator Sets. This contractual effort is for a five (5) year flexible long term contract with the quantities are as follow: 1.. Generator Set, Diesel Engine, NSN: 6115-01-431-3062, PM MEP P/N: MEP-903A, (CAGE CODE: 30554), 30 ea. (Low) and 360 ea. (High) per year and 2.. Request that suppliers provide the Government with their Production Lead time and a cost estimate for these items. There are current sources for these items are Chenega Integrated Systems, LLC, CAGE 0UY45. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRA-GD, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the previous suppliers listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts, Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance to ensure the parts meet the Militarys requirements, the cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. For more information contact Chi Chung Chang, (732)427-3385. The deadline for response is August 25, 2010
