- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY and a SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The USDA-Agricultural Research Service at the National Animal Disease Center in Ames, IA has a requirement for Maintenance Services for Caterpillar Diesel Generators. Presently the need consists of two the equipment as detailed on the attachment. A yearly service Contract consisting of all preventative maintenance and operational checks is desired. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the government. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 and the size standard to qualify as a small business is $7.0 Million. All interested parties must have a DUNS number, Taxpayer Identification Number, and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). THIS PROJECT IS NOT FUNDED BY RECOVERY ACT FUNDS OR SUBJECT TO THOSE REQUIREMENTS The deadline for responding to this Sources Sought Notice is AUGUST 17, 2010.
