- Duration of Contract Period: 5 years Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Pre-Solicitation Synopsis1.Solicitation will be issued on or about: 25 Aug 10 and closes 10Sep 10 for the acquisition of overhaul/remanufacture of the T-38Selector Valve, Aircraft. This is a COMPETITIVE BID REQUIREMENT.2.PR Number(s): FD2030-10-27732 3.Overhaul/Remanufacture 4.AMC: 4 5. T-38 Selector Valves, Aircraft 6.NSN: 1660-00-785-0250RK, 7.P/N: 552026 8.Description: The subject item is a flow regulation valve thatfacilitates manual adjustment of cockpit defog airflow. 9.The contract period will be one basic year with four one-yearoptions. The items and quantities are as follows: 10.Item 0001: Overhaul NSN: 1660-01-785-0250, P/N: 552026, Noun:Defog Flow Selector; Basic Year Best Estimated Quantity, 30 each;Option I Year Best Estimated Quantity, 30 each; Option II Year BestEstimated Quantity, 30 each; Option III Year Best Estimated Quantity, 30each; Option IV Year Best Estimated Quantity, 30 each. Item 0002: Over and Above Work; Item 0003: Data IAW DD1423s. 11.Applicable to: T-38 12.Destination: To Be Determined. 13.Required Delivery: Request an initial delivery schedule of 3each, 30 days ARO. All subsequent deliveries 3 each, 30 days ARO. Thequantities will be made up on CLIN 0001 structure. The contractor shallbegin production even if all reparables on order have not been received. 14.Export Control: N/A 15.If unit price exceeds $5,000.00 then UID requirements will apply 16.POC: Keri A. Thisaward will not be withheld pending source approval request. TheGovernment does not intend to hold discussion but may hold discussion ifit is deemed necessary. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concernsfrom offerors or potential offerors during the proposal developmentphase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not todiminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer,but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
