- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Philadelphia (FISC) Detachment Philadelphia Division, intends to acquire numerous Cisco Switches and layer 3 routing equipment, all required ancillary equipment, required software, and one year technical support from World Wide Technology Inc, using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of the test program for commercial items FAR PART 13.5. World Wide Technology is the only firm capable of executing these upgrades since they are Cisco certified, and Cisco have developed the proprietary software tools and engineering essential to the successful interoperability, functionality of the existing equipment. All Interested parties should respond, and identify their interest and capability to the requirement by submitting a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice is a solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
