Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWCPCD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Signal Processing Devices Incorporated, 71 Commercial Street Suit 270, Boston, MA 02109, for procurement of the following commercial items: 1 each ADQ Tiger Digitizer and 1 each ADQ Development Kit. This purchase is not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. Signal Processing Devices was the only company found that could provide a converter with 12 bits and 3.6 GSPS. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N61331-10-T-3511. Simplified Acquisition Procedures is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 334413 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The order shall be firm fixed price with the anticipated award date of August 2010. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. Delivery terms for this requirement are FOB Destination. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database. The NSWCPC has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area. Therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available at https://www.fbo.gov. Vendors should regularly access this web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
