- The U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a contract to the Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management of West Palm Beach, FL for hand pulling of exotic vines such as rosary pea and balsam bear. The contract shall also permit the use of selective herbicide treatments on natal grass, exotic vines, and Brazilian pepper seedlings. Palm Beach County shall be responsible for the control of all targeted exotic plants including mature trees, shrubs, saplings, seedlings, and vines.
