- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.105 a sole source basis with Regenerative Research Foundation. This is part of an NIH stem cell collaborative program. This vendor must be used to maintain the uniformity of the stem cells that will be used across the NIH community. Additionally, this vendor provides similar reagents throughout the US. Again, this is a notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ahura Scientific for the continuation of services and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order for the services requested utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit capability statements by email to Garnesl@od.nih.gov, Contract Specialist by August 16, 2010 at 12:00PM EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
