This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB-10-T-0027 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is Unrestricted associated with NAICS 332313 code with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A firm fixed price type award is anticipated. All quotes are to be for brand new items; quotes for used, re-furbished, etc. items will not be accepted. The following times are required: CLIN 0001: 2-two inch RHA armor plates and bend to a radius of curvature of 12 inches CLIN 0002: Freight; CLIN 0003: Heat Treating; Option Item: CLIN 0004: Extra Plate. Acceptance shall be at Destination. Shipping shall be FOB Destination. Delivery shall be to the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Building 1115, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, and POC: Mr. Bob Bruce. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition; fill-ins in Paragraph (a) are Price and Past Performance and less important than price.
