- The Supply Directorate, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Testek, Inc, 28320 Lakeview Drive, Wixom, MI 48393-3157 (Cage Code 06659) under authority of FAR 13.501(a). Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the unique or specialized nature of the work. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirementfor upgrade/modification to a Roll Over Test Stand. The Roll Over Test Stand is utilized to test the T64 fuel booster pump and the V22 suction lift pump. The requested upgrade modification to Roll Over Test Stand is required for testing the V22 fuel jettison transfer pump. As such, the requested upgrade modification will enable the FRCE to increase its capacity for testing V22 suction lift pumps, T64 fuel booster pump, and V22 fuel jettison transfer pump through integration with the current Roll Over Test Stand. Delivery is FOB Destination, MCAS, Cherry Point, NC. Testek is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of existing equipment and has the proprietary data rights and drawings to the Roll Over Test Stand. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties must identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT AN OFFER, WHICH WILL BE CONSIDERED. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
