- 12 AUGUST 2010 UPDATE: This update is to serve as offical pre-solicitation notification pursuant to FAR 5.203. Solicitation release is anticipated to be on or about 27 August 2010. Proposal response time is expected to be forty fixe (45) calendar days from solicitation release. Full contract performance is anticipated to commence by 1 April 2011. The period of performance (POP) for the upcoming requirement will be a total of five (5) years, inclusive of one (1) base period and ninteen (19) quarterly option periods. The contract will not be an indefinite-delivery type contract, which differs from the current T-34/44/6 Aircraft Maintenance and CLS contract, N00019-06-D-0017. The solicitation and resultant contract will include a mix of contract line item types, such as FFP, COST, CPFF, T&M, & LH. The USN intends to include positive and negative performance incentives.
