- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA) has a need for an electrical contractor to replace and upgrade the lighting fixtures in the Lee H. Hamilton Federal Building & US Courthouse, New Albany, IN. The work will include, but is not limited to disconnecting and removing all light fixtures and speakers; providing new light fixtures, speakers, acoustic drop ceiling and light control system; abatement of ACM in ceiling. The existing courtroom space is approximately 2,240 square feet. The performance period shall be 190 calendar days after issuance fo Notice to Proceed. This project is set-aside for competition amongst HUBZone small businesses. The NAICS code for this project will be 238210 and the estimated construction magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 20, 2010 and the date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fbo.gov. Contractors will have electronic access to this solicitation at this website. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FedBizOpps for any amendments and/or additional information. In order to download the solicitation document, contractor's must be registered in the CCR Database and have a valid DUNS number. A pre-proposal meeting will be held prior to the proposal due date. Details regarding the pre-proposal meeting will be outlined in the solicitation. This is a negotiated procurement. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, and the amount of any offer or relative standing of any offer will not be disclosed. Proposals will be evaluated on past performance and price.
