- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Division, Pittsburgh Regional Office, Pittsburgh, PA, has a requirement for an accessible home modifications construction contract to an existing dwelling required to meet the needs of a disabled-veteran located in Blairsville, PA. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 - $100,000. The award selection will be based upon Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (FAR 15.101-2.) The requirement is for construction to add a single floor addition to the existing dwelling, consisting of a new bedroom and bathroom; partially enclosed deck with ramps, and concrete carport. Plans will be available on site visit with no charge. IAW Public Law 109-461 and FAR 6.206, this is a 100% set-aside procurement for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) capable of performing the services. Contractors must be bonded and provide proof of licensure. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), accessed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All information provided will become property of the Department of Veterans Affairs and will not be returned. Site visits will be scheduled starting on August 23rd thru Aug 31st.
