- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center 508 Fulton Street Durham, North Carolina 27705 will be soliciting proposal for Virtual Outpatient Pharmacy Services. Contractor shall provide licensed pharmacist to perform outpatient prescription verification services via computers using remote access (VPN) for the VA medical Center, Durham, NC. The contractor will provide prescription finishing services on a daily basis (verification of prescriptions estimated to be about 1000 per day/30,000 per month). Prescription finishing includes verification of appropriate dose, route, quantity, accurate directions, evaluation for drug-drug interactions, contraindications, recorded allergies and assuring the printed label will be understandable to the patient. A request for proposal for (VA-246-10-RP-0572) will be issued within two weeks. The Government will use best value source selection in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 and intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October 01, 2010 (or date of award) through September 30, 2011, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 446110 with a size standard of $7.0 Million. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Applicable (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx.
