- This is a Statement of Work for the reconditioning of a Munitions Assembly Conveyor (MAC) and Associated Components. The Munitions Assembly Conveyor II (MAC) system is used to assemble MK-82, MK-84, and BLU-109 bomb bodies into a fully assembled munition complete with fuze, guidance section, and fins ready for operational use. This is a solicitation notice for the Munitions Assembly Conveyor II (MAC). The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale AFB, CA has a requirement for the reconditioning of a Munitions Assembly Conveyor (MAC) and Associated Components. The Munitions Assembly Conveyor II (MAC) system is used to assemble MK-82, MK-84, and BLU-109 bomb bodies into a fully assembled munition complete with fuze, guidance section, and fins ready for operational use. The prospective contractor shall ship the MAC from Beale AFB, CA to its reconditioning facility. All transportation costs will be the contractor's responsibility. Shipping will be performed by contractor using USAF-owned MAC shipping containers. The MAC reconditioning process will encompass the requirements set forth in the Statement of Work that accompanies this notification. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be considered for award. Offerors can register at http://www.ccr.gov.
