Description

The Supply Directorate, Marine Corps Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby give notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Midwest Aircraft Machine and Tool Company, 164 North Mill Street, Plainfield IN, 46168, (Cage Code: (1SWT0) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items. The V-22 Support Team, MCAS Cherry Point, NC intends to procure Engine Compressor and Turbine Wash Kits P/N 23083851, seventy five (75) each as required to fulfill the Government's requirement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining to conduct a competitive procurement.
